Design on a Dime Blog: How to Save Money Decorating with Artistic Prints

If you’re not an artist, using downloadable prints is the easiest way to get original artwork in your space without breaking the bank. You can use an old frame, and give it new life with an artistic print. Or you can buy an inexpensive, plain, black or white frame from stores like Amazon or Walmart.

 

In my son's coastal themed nursery (CLICK HERE to view my Coastal Themed Nursery article), there was a small space I wanted to fill with original artwork. My biggest dilemma was finding something unique, in line with my theme, and inexpensive. Luckily, I came across the perfect watercolor whale print in an Etsy Shop called SquareMartshop.
