How to Create a Rustic Glam Christmas Mantle

To coordinate with my Frozen Christmas tree as seen in my "How to Decorate a Disney’s Frozen Christmas tree the Easy Way" post, I added this quick and easy Rustic Glam Christmas Mantle décor.

Incorporating faux birch tree trunk pieces breaks up the white gloss and metallics adding the rustic touch. You can also get birch tree logs and place them in a basket near your fireplace to coordinate with the mantle.

Adding garland to a porcelain deer head along with small bulb ornaments adds a whimsical charm to the space.

Even if you don't have a deer head, you can hang a pre-decorated wreath or get a plain wreath and add ornaments.

There are topiary plants on pillars near my fireplace so I added bows to them that I made from the left over ribbon from the wreath.

I purchased a JOY and snowflake glitter sign to tie in the Frozen silver glitter theme. This sign was inexpensive and easy to put together.

Spray painting some old vases metallic silver instantly ties the mantle with the silver tree trimming. I'm a big fan of up cycling accessories and furniture with spray paint. If you can find a piece that has the desired shape you want, spray paint can transform it from drab to fab. 🙂 See my "Bedroom UpCycle" post for a large spray painting project example. I spray painted an entire bedroom set, and got a whole new look while saving money. Make sure before you spray paint your object the desired color that you prime with a white primer spray paint first.

You can use  Command Damage Free Hooks to hang stockings without damaging your mantle. To personalize our stockings, I added  silver monogram initial ornaments . My stocking is extra glam with the ivory faux fur. 🙂  Using the cable knit and faux fur stockings adds texture to the look.

Now I’m just waiting on the baby’s stocking to come in the mail. I’ll update this post with a pic when it comes in. 🙂

This project was quick, super easy, inexpensive, and I hope it gives you some Rustic Glam Christmas Mantle Inspiration.
